WHAT IS DERMATOLOGY?
Dermatology is a branch of medicine where skin disorders and skin diseases, including cancers, are examined, identified and treated.

A dermatology clinic also often offer cosmetic procedures such as facials, Botox, fillers, Derma roller, dermabrasion, chemical peels and laser treatments to improve the appearance of skin contribute to the ageing effects of skin and to balance potential damage of skin disorders such as acne scars and pigmentary changes.
WHAT IS DR ASKARI'S EXPEREINCE AS A DEMATOLOGIST?
Dr Askari obtained her Doctorate degree in Medicine from the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran. She is Board Certified as a dermatologist, and is fully accredited and registered by the General Medical Council of the UK (GMC reference number: 5186190).
Dr Askari has been working as a dermatologist within the NHS since 2003 and in 2008 started and has continued working as a Consultant Dermatologist, being recognised as an experienced Clinician in this clinical area.
She offers diagnosis and treatment of the full range of skin conditions including skin rashes, skin infections, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair loss, nail disorders, moles and skin cancer. In particular Dr Askari uses advanced non-invasive techniques (dermoscopic records) for the screening of skin moles to enable early detection of skin cancer.

Dr Askari completed her Thesis, "An estimation of antibody titre against Toxoplasmosis Gondii" winning a prize presenting the findings at the International Geographic Conference which was held in Shiraz University.
