Following the consultation the patient will be sent a full record of the consultation and procedures performed. A record will also be sent to the patient's GP unless the patient requests the information to be withheld.
If it is necessary for the patient to be seen by a colleague in a different specialty, this will be discussed and a referral made if the patient is in agreement.
